An exercise in lazy blogging

One of my goals for Lent is to reduce the time I spend online in order to get a better idea of what is truly essential and what is just a distraction. One thing is sure: I've had more time to read through all those "starred items" in Google Reader. Here are a few I thought I'd pass on to you:

  1. Roger Thurow, author of Enough: Why the World's Poorest Starve in a n Age of Plenty, will be speaking in Bloomington, Tuesday, April 5 for a series of Bread for the World events.

  2. Thanks, Sam. I will try to be there. Do you have any more information on the other events in Bloomington?

About Me

I'm Rachel's husband and Darcy's daddy. I'm a Hoosier, an accountant, and an Episcopalian. Politically, I'm a progressive who believes in the preferential option for the poor. I use the blog as a sort of journal - to interact with my reading and sketch out ideas.
